Singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright has announced the launch of his official app for mobile phones, which will act as a 'one-stop channel for all things Rufus', featuring live streaming, exclusive photos and video clips, in-app chats and ticket pre-sales.

Wainwright commented 'I'm really excited about creating a personal relationship with my fans on a platform where I can speak freely and not be filtered - everything goes directly to the people who want to hear it, without being taken out of context'. The app is available November 28.
